THE APPLICATION DEADLINE IS April 9, 2026. Online applications and supporting materials must be submitted by 11:59 pm ET. Reference forms must be submitted by April 23, 2026 11:59pm ET. Late submissions and incomplete applications will not be considered. There is no appeal process.

Thank you for your interest in the GE Vernova STAR Scholarship, funded by the GE Vernova Foundation. This is a global program offered to children of GE Vernova employees working around the world. This GE Vernova employee eligibility form must be completed by a parent/guardian in order for your child to access the online or paper application. Once you submit this form, your child will be sent a link giving them access to IIE's online application system in order to complete an application online in English or Spanish or to download a PDF application in Chinese, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, or Portuguese.

Based on your answers you are not eligible to initiate the GE Vernova STAR Scholarship application on behalf of your child. To be eligible you must be a current employee of GE Vernova as of the application deadline, April 9, 2026. Children or dependents of Executive Band employees, Senior Executive Band employees, Company Officers and retirees are not eligible to apply. Employees who have retired directly from GE Vernova or acting on behalf of an employee who has died while in active service for, or after retiring directly from GE Vernova, are not eligible to apply. Are you currently an Executive Band employee, Senior Executive Band employee, Company Officer or retiree?

Children or dependents of Executive Band employees, Senior Executive Band employees, Company Officers, and retirees are not eligible to apply. b. The applicant is a step-child who lives with you;

Eligible applicants must be the birth child or adopted child of an eligible GE Vernova employee; a step-child who lives with an eligible employee; or another child who lives permanently with an eligible employee, depends solely on that employee for support, and for whom the employee or his/her spouse is the court appointed permanent guardian. Eligible applicants must currently be enrolled as a high school senior or at the highest level of studies available at the higher/upper secondary school level in a public, private, or parochial school (or equivalent, including students who are home-schooled). Students enrolled in college courses for high-school credit prior to graduation from high school are eligible.

An application package becomes the property of IIE once it is submitted. The application or any parts of the application package will not be returned to the applicant.
